Kenny Chesney has established Spread the Love - A fund for Boston with Boston Medical Center (BMC) to help those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. Besides making a sizeable donation to get the fund started, he will also donate all of the proceeds from the download sales of his single , baring the same theme name “Spread The Love”. The track is co-written and produced by the Wailers. The funds focus area will be to help post-acute care for the victims of the tragic bombings, including financing prosthetics.
Chesney said: “I want to help give these people as much of their lives back as possible, but I’d also like to counteract some of the negativity in the world… Remind people that there are more good people out there, and it’s up to us to ‘Spread the Love.”

George Jones has passed away, today, Friday, April 26, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This comes after one week ago when he was admitted to the hospital amid irregular blood pressure and fever symptoms.
George Glenn Jones was born September 12th, 1931 and is regarded one of the most important and influential singers and musicians in all American popular music history and a true country music icon. He was a member of the Grand Ole Opry, A Country Music Hall of Famer and an Honoree at the Kennedy Center.
Just at the end of last year Jones concluded his farewell tour, in a sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena in November 2012.
Jones is survived by his wife Nancy Jones, sister Helen Scroggins, and by his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
